This is my driving purpose behind the HIPY brand – to keep you, you! HIPY stands for High-

Performance Yoga. And high-performers don’t follow. They lead.

This can often be a concept far removed from the yoga world these days. There are so many

branches of disciplines out there that have been done, redone and even well-done. And so

many of them teach teachers to teach exactly in line with their brand.

That’s not what I’m about. I want to empower you to be your own brand… to shine your own

light and teach under your own signature. You can then attract the students who resonate

with your passion, your gifts and how they both show up in your teaching.

How do I help you do this?

I focus on how to effectively sequence your classes. The sequences you design for your

students forms an experience. It tells a story. In fact, it’s ultimately the reason students want

to learn from you. But, it’s not easy.

Sequencing your classes mindfully and intentionally is a pretty complex process. I help teachers

learn to break it down so it’s simple and purposeful. When you learn my sequencing methods,

you will feel empowered and confident with creating classes that allow your personality,

individuality and passion to shine through. A topic that is brushed over in yoga teacher training programs.

And the same goes for students…

Yoga is a journey. It is not a destination. It’s not the perfect backbend or the longest handstand.

It’s a path to self-awareness that starts on the mat, with the mind-body connection we create,

and continues off the mat with the mindful intentions we hold. It’s never about how far you go,

but how you get there.

I inspire my students to get a holistic experience of what yoga truly entails – the spiritual

philosophy, the physical practice and the mindful commitment. And I want each time you

practice with me to be authentic to the space you’re holding that very moment. I help you

show up in your truest form and meet you where you are. From there, we see how far you can

go and grow. And sometimes this may mean venturing out of your comfort zone. Because,

remember… if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you!
